The Blues manager Enzo Maresca stated on the final weekday that Cole Palmer is set to return for the squad's significant top-flight match against London rivals Arsenal.
The young English midfielder was unavailable due to a fractured toe incurred after an unfortunate occurrence.
“He is available to start and to play,” Maresca declared. “All involved are pleased.”
This season, Palmer has made only four appearances in all tournaments, netting two goals.
Since his arrival from City in the previous year, he has achieved 45 goals and 29 assists in 101 appearances for the London club.

Everton have failed in their appeal against Idrissa Gueye's red card for an on-field altercation with teammate Michael Keane during the team's 1-0 victory at Manchester United.
The 36-year-old Senegalese midfielder was shown a red card only 13 minutes into the game after striking Keane amid a argument over a misplaced pass.
The player promptly expressed regret, and the pair appeared reconciled afterwards in a mock social media video.
However, the appeal against the red card was rejected, and Gueye must complete a three-game ban, leaving Everton depleted for their upcoming fixture against Newcastle United.
“We challenged the decision and it was rejected,” coach the manager revealed. “We received no rationale for the denial but we did appeal it.”
When asked about more issues from the incident, Moyes remarked: “The matter was resolved instantly, it was done, that was it, we moved on swiftly and it was all sorted within the dressing room.”
The club's new acquisition Yoane Wissa has trained with his squad for the initial occasion since sustaining a knee problem soon after his move from his former club in September.
